Preparation Strategy

How many questions did you attempt in this JULY NIMHANS 2010 ?

I attended 95 out of 100 questions.

What was your study Plan?

My study plan was simple, I already had one year of all india preps, I just made sure my basics are strong.

How many hours did u study ?

With our life at stake most of us will study for almost all the time we are awake. But i made sure i did it in the way i enjoy it.

Your tips for success

Perseverance conquers everything.

During your preparation, did you ever doubt your ability to succeed in it?

Of course without doubts and dips ur preps are incomplete. But use them as a tool of assesment and not as a weight around ur neck that slows u down.

How much time do you think one requires for serious preparation for this examination?

I feel , that is very subjective , Once Psychiatrist Dr Sunil sir @ ADrPlexus told every one has to pay a price to get to a position but some has to pay more some less. That price can be either hardwork and get soon, or relax and get it late. So i think that all depends how badly u want it.

When did you seriously start preparing for this exam?

Soon after internship i started, but thats really late. One should start from the start of Internship.

Did you face the problem of volatile memory? If so, how did you deal with it?

Ya i had the most volatile memory, for that i tried to understand the concepts of everything so that i can analyze and get the answers wanted. Also i discussed a lot with my friends and revised a lot.

What was your daily timetable during the preparation? Were you able to stick to the timetable strictly?

I had no strict timetables ,I just made sure I finished 1st and 2nd year subjects thoroughly so that i have complete grip on the basics. Rest is all by ADrPlexus discussions and classes and ADrPlexus Real Test series that i attended.

What is your advice to the future aspirants?

Few things i wanted to tell to the aspirants is: 1. First start enjoying r life and work, that makes everything simpler and easier. 2. Remember one thing – PASSION HAS A FUNNY WAY OF TRUMPING LOGIC.
